Anne's Pixie Do

Anne Hathoway says that after she cut off her long hair for her role in "Les Miserables" she was inconsolable.  She said that cutting off her hair was her idea and she did not think that it would be that big of a deal.  But she said that she started crying when she did it.  She said that for the role, she had to have an actress cut half her hair off, then her stylist Paul had to don the dress the actress was wearing so he could finish the cut while the cameras rolled on.
