Block YouTube ads
|
YouTube tries to obtain a bigger profit by showing ads over some videos. Just like on TV, these ads can be very annoying sometimes. Fortunately, they can be deactivated pretty easy.
If you're using Opera, to block the ads, you need to install a small program, an Opera extension. Go to Menu, then Extensions and finally Get Extensions. ![]() On the left side, in the search field, write YouTube AdsFree and press enter. It will show two results. Press install, just like in the image: ![]() Confirm the install by pressing Install in the new window that appeared: ![]() In a few seconds, the extension is installed and a confirmation message will appear in the corner: ![]() If you're using Firefox, you can use a similar method: installing an add-on. Use the Tools menu - Add-ons. ![]() In the new window that appeared, in the search field, write TubeStop, then hit Enter. It will show a result, then press install. ![]() The add-on activates after you restart Firefox and after, you can watch YouTube clips without any ads. |
