If i could only go to one party, I think I would choose teh Halloween because I would enjoy all the awesoen costumes and fu, New Year's Eve parties can be fun of course too, but I tend to get melancholoy around that day/night, and actually prefer staying home.

I would have to say a Halloween party :)

Holloween is my favourite holiday, and I love decorating for it, and dressing up as whatever you want is awesome too.

You can have as much fun, if not more, at a Halloween party... get to dress up, see cool decorations, and scare the crap out of people without getting in too much trouble for doing it!

Love Halloween... cna't wait for it!! :)

Let's hear it for Halloween, yay! Ironically, as much as I would choose a Halloween party, I will not be going to one or have been to one in a long long time. Since having kids, Halloween is all about them and doing stuff they want to do-like trick or treating. But that is good too!;) Gotta love the candy!

Halloween is so fun. I love decorating for it and getting to dress up. As an adult there is so many ways to make it cool and scary that you can't do as a kid.

I always have a Halloween party at our house. My sister on the other hand has a New Years party. I like them both. both are a lot of fun. I think that each is memorable in their own ways.

I like Halloween because you can dress up and be anything you want to be. So it is fun. Yet with New Years you can make new years resolutions and be ready and all geared up for a great new year.

I’d rather celebrate New Year’s Eve because I’ll get to dress beautifully and be with my family and friends. Whereas, in Halloween, people wear weird costumes with heavy dark makeup, which makes me uncomfortable.

Well I've lived in Las Vegas for the last 10 years and we do New Years and Halloween really big. I prefer New Years because of the fireworks and huge spectacle it is.

New years eve of course! In my country, it's rare to have Halloween parties, as it's not very much observed instead families go to cemeteries to visit relatives who already passed away. In new year, everyone is celebrating it it's the happiest night of the year! Everyone is out of their homes lighting firecrackers and fireworks, and just being noisy welcoming the new year. Then food is everywhere too!
