Makeup for Your Wedding Day

While lots of people think that when they get married they need to go to extremes when it comes to the makeup department, I disagree. I think that if you wear makeup you should wear what you usually wear as long as it looks ok with your dress. But if you do not wear makeup ever, then do not go to the extreme. Wear soft natural colors. Neutrals are a great selection. Pretty much anyone looks good in them. Browns and taupes look very nice and can complement any skin tone. Apply with a light hand a foundation that matches you skin tone, then brush your face with a matching powder to set.

Add a little blush, since you do not want to look scary or unnatural and a coat or two of waterproof mascara. Make sure it is waterproof since there may be some crying going on. Finish with a light colored lip stick. Apply, blot lips, then apply again. And you're ready to walk down the aisle.

I agree. So many people go to salons and professionals to get their makeup done on their wedding day. I wore the same makeup I usually do, with the exception of wearing a different eyeliner. I also added some lip gloss which I don't normally wear.

I agree too, you don't want to try something new on such a special day and end up looking like a clown.

I actually just got married. I was very careful with the makeup I choose. I wanted something that made me look great but at the same time did not want something that I would look back on and cringe.

I did choose some natural makeup and just played up my eyes with steel gray. It looked amazing. Made my eyes very smokey. It went without the eyeliner for fear that I would cry it off. I used waterproof mascara and my eye makeup lasted my whole night through.
