What is the difference between information technology and information communication?
Before you know about the difference between the two you need to know what is the definition of both terminologies. Information technology is the study in which we use modern technology to send information across the globe. So, everything comes under new technology is a part of IT. Like, the advanced mobile phone is an example of information technology in which latest technology is used to perform so many functions.
Mostly, we regard computers a part of information technology. That is not entirely true, as every technology based equipment comes under IT. Now, the information communication is the part of IT.
IT is the subject which allows us to communicate with our friends, family members, business associates or anybody. We communicate through telephones, cell phones, fax machines, computers, handhelds etc. In simple words, by using technology to communicate means information communication. There are lots of things involved that make information communication possible. To establish this communication, you need both software and hardware.
