Majority of the bacteria usually will die if the temperature reaches around 30 degrees centigrade. Thats why we have fever. It is the first defense againt any foriegn object that enters our body. It our body's way of protecting us from these harmful elements. Actualy, a fever is only a symptom and not an illness. If this is correct, then it may also apply to washing our hands with warm or hot water. I just don't know what will be the duration of it. Will a 50 degrees C hot water can kill a bateria if it is expose to about 2 minutes?
